How does Fordbridge Community Primary School promote inclusion for pupils with SEND?

At Fordbridge, we are fully committed to being an inclusive community, providing the best educational experience as possible for all our children. Our class teachers have high expectations for every child in their class and plan their teaching based on what the children already know, can do and understand. They put in place a wide variety of teaching strategies and resources to ensure that every child is engaged in learning. Lessons are differentiated to meet the needs of every child in the class, and children are given opportunities to work independently and collaboratively. Specific strategies are put in place for children who have additional needs, following guidance from the SENCo or other professionals involved with the child. Support staff are deployed strategically to provide support where it is most needed.
