End of academic year results
At the end of each academic year we will publish our key end of year results (Reception, Year 1 (Phonics test), Year 2 and Year 6 pupils). If you have any questions or queries about these results please ask to speak to a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
At the end of Reception pupils are assessed by the teachers as to whether they are emerging, achieving or exceeding a good level of development across different areas.
In the academic year 2015-16 there were changes to the way results are reported for Year 2 and Year 6 pupils. In Year 2, pupils were assessed by the teacher as working towards the expected standard, achieving the expected standard or as working at greater depth for the end of Year 2. In Year 6 there were tests for reading, maths and spelling, punctuation & grammar (SPAG). There was teacher assessment for writing. Pupils in Year 6 could be working towards the expected level, achieved the expected level or achieved a higher score in reading, SPAG and maths. They have been assessed as working towards the expected level, achieved the expected level or working at a greater depth for writing.
