With children and young people relying on their tech at home for learning and entertainment during lockdown, it remains vital to keep conversations about online safety going and raise awareness of reporting routes if something goes wrong.
Here's a summary of the Thinkuknow resources available to help parents and carers to support their child at home.
Online safety at home packs
Simple 15 minute activities families can do to support their child's online safety at home. Packs are available for ages 4 to 14+. Parents can also watch our video guides on different online safety topics.
Online safety toolkits
For face-to-face learning:
Bitesize activities and worksheets based on our home activity packs that you can deliver to children and young people face-to-face in your education setting. The toolkits can be used with ages 5 to 14+.
Adapted versions of our online safety toolkits for ages 5 to 10 with editable slides and video lessons for use on your online learning platform.

BBC Midlands Today
Fri 18 Dec 2020In case you missed the news on Thursday, some Year 6 pupils and Miss Jeffs appeared on BBC Midlands today talking about an art project they took part in earlier in the year. The children were absolutely amazing and spoke so positively about the project- they should be so proud of themselves! It was great!

Solihull community educational psychology service (CEPS) family support line
Fri 17 Apr 2020Solihull Council's community educational psychology service family support line will open on Monday 20 April 2020. CEPS has produced a leaflet aimed at parents and carers.
