We would like to thank all children for starting the term, enthusiastic and ready to learn. The children all look very smart in their uniform and black shoes. Please keep it up.

Year five staff
Our Theme Topic is Ancient Greeks.
We hope you really enjoy this topic.
Can all children please remember to read their school books every night for at least 10 minutes! An adult must comment and sign the child's reading diary to say they have read. Children will be rewarded with dojo's daily.
Spellings will be handed out on a Monday and children will be tested on a Friday.
All homework will be handed out on a Friday and due back in on a Wednesday.
P.E for Year 5 is on a Wednesday afternoon. Please ensure your child has the correct kit for these lessons and a change of footwear
Year 5 would like to introduce you to Jez. He will be our jigsaw piece for our PSHE lessons, he will be helping us with our thoughts and feelings every week.

A FEW IMPORTANT MESSAGES!
UNIFORM - Can all children please be in school in suitable black shoes and complete uniform grey skirt/trousers or dress, white shirt and burgundy jumper/cardigan
HEAD LICE - In order to keep head lice at bay please check your child nearly every day.
WATER BOTTLES - We would like all children to have an appropriate bottle containing water in school daily.
COLLECTION - Important Notice! Please can you remember to inform the office staff if any one different is picking up your child from school, many thanks.
In school as part of our PSHE scheme we will be discussing the importance of the PANTS rule with all children.
