Our theme for this term is The Great Fire Of London.  We will be having a visit for the Firemen, looking at Tudor Houses and finding out why the fire spread.  We will also be finding London on a map, and looking at the difference between building today and 1666.

In Maths we are continuing to count, write and know our numbers from 0 to 100. We will  be looking at 2D and 3D shapes, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division . We are also to learning our number bonds to 20.  It is important that children continue to practice their 2, 5 and 10 times table.  We also will learn about capacity.

Please ensure that all RWI books and spelling sheets are returned to school by the following Wednesday.

Also take a look at our RWI letter formation programme feel free to save and print this sheet to practice at home.

Your child practices their RWI sounds every day using the complex sound chart. To help your child further develop why not practice at home too.
