All children in year one are taking part in RWI .
During these sessions, children will be reading with a member of staff on a daily basis. At the end of each week some children will be bringing home a spelling sheet and a RWI book every Wednesday for them to read over the following week. Please ensure that all RWI books and spelling sheets are returned to school by the following Wednesday.
Also take a look at our RWI letter formation programme feel free to save and print this sheet to practice at home.
Your child practices their RWI sounds every day using the complex sound chart. To help your child further develop why not practice at home too.
In Year One our aim is to work collaboratively with our parents and carers. If you ever need to speak to a member of staff please do not hesitate you can speak to Miss Bradbury, Mrs Behan Mrs Weaver and Mrs Palmer either before school or from 3.15pm as our doors are always open.
