At Fordbridge Community Primary School, we believe that every child deserves the very best start to their educational journey. Through our vision of Achieving Excellence Together, we provide a nurturing, ambitious and inclusive environment where children feel happy, safe and ready to learn.
Our Early Years curriculum is carefully designed to develop children's social, emotional, physical and academic skills through a balance of purposeful play, exploration and high-quality teaching. We inspire curiosity, encourage independence and help children develop a lifelong love of learning.
The values of Respect, Responsibility, Reliability and Resilience are at the heart of our daily practice. From their very first day, children learn how to work and play positively with others, make responsible choices, persevere when faced with challenges and become dependable members of our school community.
We value the unique strengths, interests and experiences that every child brings to Fordbridge. By working in close partnership with parents, carers and other professionals, we ensure that learning is personalised and that every child is supported to achieve their full potential.
Our indoor and outdoor learning environments provide rich opportunities for children to explore, investigate, create and problem-solve. Through these experiences, children develop the confidence, independence and resilience needed to succeed in school and beyond.
We are committed to ensuring that every child feels valued, included and celebrated. Careful transition arrangements help children settle confidently into Nursery and Reception and continue their learning journey successfully as they move through the school.
At Fordbridge, we are proud of our diverse community and the strong relationships that enable us to work together to achieve excellence for every child.

Before Applying for your Nursery Space, We recommend and welcome Parents/Carers to request and arrange to come and visit the setting, prior to applying for a space. We try our best to meet parents’ request, however, sometimes there may be more applications for a particular intake than there are places. If this happens, we will use the oversubscription criteria to decide who is offered a place.
