Your attendance is excellent, and you will almost certainly achieve the best grades for your ability and have the best opportunities in further education or the world of work.   

You will be rewarded in the following ways:  

• You will help your class to win the weekly attendance certificate  
• Weekly raffle to win £5.  
• Certificates termly.  
• Prize draw  
• Fun afternoon in the summer term for children and parents.  

SILVER 

97%-99% 

Is your attendance 97% plus (having fewer than 8 days absence in the year)?  

You are likely to achieve your grades that will you give you good opportunities to continue your studies or in the world of work  

You will be rewarded in the following ways:  

• You will help your class to win the weekly attendance certificate.  
• Certificates termly.  
• Prize draw  

Is your attendance 95% plus (having fewer than 12 days absence in the year)?  

You are missing up to 12 days each school year and this will make it difficult for you to achieve your best.  

If your attendance is between 95%-96%:  

• 96% is the national average attendance  
• Child and Family Support worker may contact you to offer support if it drops below 96%.  

BRONZE

95%-96% 

AMBER 91%-

94%

You are missing so much time from school that it will be difficult for you to keep in touch with lessons or work.  

If your attendance is between 91% and 94%:  

• Highly likely to require medical evidence.  
• Highly likely Senior Leadership team and AWO involved.  
• Chance of Penalty Notice

If your attendance is 90% or below you need to take action!  

You are missing so much time from school that it will be almost impossible for you to keep in touch with lessons or work.  

If your attendance is 90% or below:  

• Senior Leadership team will be involved  
• School Attendance Officer will be involved  
• Medical evidence required  
• Highly likely to receive  

Penalty Notice warning
