Starting Reception

Starting school is an exciting milestone for both children and parents. If your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023, they will be due to start Reception in September 2027. To secure a school place, parents and carers must submit an application through the Local Authority admissions process. Applications for Reception places starting in September 2027 must be completed and submitted by 15 January 2027. Late applications may reduce the chance of obtaining a place at your preferred school.
