Our October Newsletter is here! 🍂
As we reach the end of our first half-term, take a look at all the wonderful learning, achievements and exciting experiences that have taken place across Fordbridge Community Primary School. It's been a fantastic few weeks filled with creativity, teamwork, new opportunities and plenty of reasons to celebrate!
What a fantastic first half-term we've had at Fordbridge! Our children have continued to demonstrate our Golden Values of Respect, Resilience, Reliability and Responsibility, showing enthusiasm, confidence and determination in everything they do.
This month's newsletter includes exciting updates on our OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) journey, which will help us transform playtimes into even more creative, inclusive and engaging experiences. We're also delighted to celebrate Fordbridge achieving the highest level of accreditation in the Green Schools Award, recognising our commitment to sustainability and caring for the environment.
You can catch up on the wonderful learning taking place across Phases 1, 2 and 3, from colourful autumn adventures and creative writing to science investigations, playground design projects and Bikeability.
There's also plenty to celebrate in Team Fordbridge, including our football and dodgeball competitions, an exciting cheerleading visit and an unforgettable Junior Roar trip to Wembley Stadium! Plus, discover what's coming up for our school choir as they prepare for some fantastic festive performances.
The newsletter also includes important dates for next half-term, reminders for parents and carers, updates on attendance and useful online safety advice about Fortnite and Roblox.
Thank you to all our families for your continued support. We wish everyone a wonderful, restful half-term break and look forward to welcoming our children back on Monday 2 November for another exciting term of learning and achievement.
