Safeguarding/Child Protection

Safeguarding children is a priority at this setting. When you leave your child at the setting you can be completely confident they are in safe hands.

We have a robust recruitment procedure and all our staff have enhanced CRB (DBS) checks.

If your child has an accident it will be recorded and you will be informed. If there is a serious injury, we will let you know immediately. Please ensure that we always have a current contact number and that you tell us if your number or details change.

Staff have a legal obligation to record any bruising or other injuries or concerns regarding a child's welfare. The setting follows the Local Authority Child Protection procedure and may on occasions have to contact another agency such as Duty Referral Assessment Team or the Local Authority Designated Officer without prior consent.
